One of my absolute favorites, the pictures just do not do the colors on this hat justice!  When I found this ombre green yarn, I had immediate images of a herbology professor at some famous wizarding school!  But the end result is so much more elegant and lovely!The yarn has been ringed around the full height of the hat and then hand sewn into place for stability in the front and the back.  I chose  pale green and rose silk ranunculus,  gorgeous iridescent rooster feathers, contrasting chartreuse goose biots, and one magnificent green pheasants feather!  The color of the ombre is so lovely, and hopefully is reminiscent of garden vines twinning round and round. That itself is a wool blend and has a wonderful stretch to the circumfrence to allow a good half inch give.  Measuring 13" across, 9" tall and 24" from front to whisky floral end, with a head circumfrance of 7.5".Feathers may be smoothed if they become ruffled during transport or normal wear.  Florals are all hot glued securely in place, but I would not reccomend leaving your hat in a very high heat setting, ie. direct, hot sunlight, or on a heater.
